Before your wedding day I would definitely recommend having a bridal trial. This gives you the chance for us to discuss how you would like to look on your wedding day and to try out some different styles. It’s also a good opportunity for us to get to know each other before the big day!
A trial for a bride’s hair and make up usually takes around 2 ½ hours but I won’t leave until the bride is completely happy with her look. I would suggest to have a trial around 2 months before the wedding day.
Ahead of your trial, I would recommend that you have some images ready of how you would like your hair and make up to look so I can get an idea and feel for what you are after.
Whether you have chosen a classic, romantic, glamourous, vintage or natural look, I am very happy to style you in whatever way you have chosen. With over 10 years experience in the industry, I can do pretty much anything you have in mind!
If you choose to wear a veil, hair ornaments or want flowers in your hair and you haven’t got them yet for the trial, don’t panic as I have some accessories in my hair kit that I am happy to bring along to the trial.
On your wedding day I will drive to the chosen venue of your choice and will recreate the look that we decided to go for at the wedding trial.
I’d recommend that you wear a loose opening top, cardigan or dressing gown, so that the hair and make up won’t get disturbed when changing into your wedding dress. Please also have your hair washed the night before unless we have discussed otherwise at the trial.
If you need help with lacing up your dress, I am very happy to do that as well.
A Hair and Make up schedule will be sent out to you prior your wedding day so that the whole bridal party knows when they are needed and how long it will take.
I am a Kent based hair and make up Artist but I am happy to travel further afield for a small charge. The first 20 miles are included in the price. Any further miles from Canterbury are charged at £0.45 per mile. Travel costs are charged for trials and for the wedding day.
A £50 non refundable deposit is due on booking to hold the wedding date, which will be taken off the final balance.
If the bridal party is a little larger or you have an early ceremony start, I can bring an additional Hair and Make up Artist along for an extra cost of £50 per assistant to get everyone ready in time.
For trial payments, please pay on the day or a couple of days before via bank transfer.
If you are happy and want to proceed with booking me for your wedding after the trial, the payment for the wedding day is due 7-14 days before your wedding day via bank transfer after you have received an invoice from me.
In the event of you needing to cancel the booking, you will lose the deposit of £50. If you cancel a month or less before your wedding day, 60% of the total balance is still payable.
If for any unforeseen reason I have to cancel a booking, 100% of any payments received would be returned back to you.
